About Me
Hi, I’m Chris (he/him). No matter the reason that you find yourself exploring therapy, I have a few things I want to share with you:
It’s ok to be where you are right now

You are doing the best you can with what you’ve got

I want to help you be more you
While I have always had an interest in human psychology and wellbeing, the primary reason I entered this work was because of the healing, change, and growth I experienced in my own therapy. So, those three statements I shared with you aren’t platitudes to me. They are some of the most important lessons I learned through the work I did with my therapist.
Seeking therapy is a courageous and vulnerable step in your story of becoming more you. I would be honored to hold your story with you and work towards the life you desire.

My Approach

My clients and colleagues describe me as a warm, welcoming, and compassionate person.

Relationships are critically important in shaping who we are as people and how we experience the world. With this in mind, we will spend time in therapy talking about current and past relationships (including our relationship as therapist and client), with the goal of helping you to develop more fulfilling, intimate, and authentic relationships today and in turn, to feel better emotionally and physically.
Along with this relational focus, my approach is also influenced by existential therapy (our search for a “meaningful” life, whatever that means to you), narrative therapy (the stories we embrace and tell about ourselves), and trauma-informed therapy and practices (EMDR, somatic work, etc.), among others.
Together, you and I will work to help you create the life you desire.
