Yellow Flower

Sometimes, the most comforting experience in the universe is to know that someone else understands your struggle.

Group therapy can be an incredibly beneficial experience for someone looking to grow, heal, and increase their self-connection (emotionally, mentally, physically, etc.). Because relationships among group members are discouraged outside of the group, the group itself maintains a level of safety and becomes a place where members can "try on" new ways of interacting with themselves, their experiences, other members, and the group leader.

Group therapy can be as effective, and sometimes more effective, than individual therapy. Doing group therapy in tandem with individual therapy is always encouraged, as the two experiences can lead to accelerated growth, healing, and change.
